Ioannis Oroutzoglou received his Diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, in July of 2018. From July 2018 until December 2018 he worked at IMEC (Genk, Belgium) on GPU acceleration of bifacial Photovoltaic modules simulation. Currently, he is a Research Associate at ICCS and a PhD candidate at Microprocessors and Digital Systems Laboratory (Microlab) at School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of NTUA. His research interests include high-performance computing and architectures, GPUs dynamic resource management, fault tolerant systems and integration of GPU acceleration at embedded and cloud computing. He is working in European projects EVOLVE and EXA2PRO.
