DESCRIPTION:Την Παρασκευή 18/12/2020 και ώρα 10:00 EET (Greek Time) θα έχουμε την παρουσίαση για τα Fridays Tech Talks από τον υποψήφιο διδάκτορα Άγγελο Φερίκογλου με τίτλο: \n\n“GPU sharing for ML workloads on cloud infrastructures” \n\nΗ παρουσίαση θα γίνει μέσω webex στο παρακάτω link Webex. \nΑκολουθεί μία σύντομη περίληψη της παρουσίασης: \n“Nowadays\, there is an ever-increasing number of machine learning workloads pushed and executed on the cloud. To effectively serve and manage the computational demands\, data center operators have provisioned their infrastructures with accelerators. Specifically for GPUs\, support for efficient management lacks\, as state of the art schedulers and orchestrators\, treat GPUs only as a typical compute resources ignoring their unique characteristics and application properties. Both academia and industry introduced mechanisms that aim to overcome the abovementioned limitation. In this presentation\, representative existing works and future challenges will be presented. “
